Columbia Evening Float Trips

The Historic Columbia River in Fairmont Hot Springs meanders through the Columbia Wetlands and Riverside Golf Course. These wetlands are home to over 265 species of birds including the Blue Heron, Bald Eagles and Hooded Mergansers. Keep on the look out for Beavers, Otters, Deer, Bear and more! A very relaxing trip with great photo opportunities around every bend.
Experience the magnitude of the Columbia Valley as you float down the serene Columbia River with the majestic Purcell Mountains on one side and the rugged Rocky Mountains on the other. Your friendly and informative guide will propel you through the stunning wetlands while you sit back and enjoy this tranquil setting.
Guests will not get wet, and paddling is optional. We provide transportation from Fairmont Hot Springs. This Trip departs daily at 6:30 pm from May long weekend to Sept 1.
We require a minimum of 4 people to run this trip.
We supply:
- Experienced guides, life jackets, neoprene booties, water.
You should bring:
- Suncreen, sunglasses, hat
- Dress according to weather as we run rain or shine
- Camera, Binoculars
- A smile!
