Fairmont Hot Springs and the surrounding vacation locations like Invermere and Panorama are popular summer destinations for vacationing families.   This region of the Rocky Mountain Trench, called the Columbia Valley, is the perfect setting for a great family rafting adventure, filled with breath taking scenery and spectacular wildlife including over 265 species of birds! Oh, and lets not forget the Hot Springs which feel amazing after a fun trip on the river!

For a refreshing splash on a hot summer day we offer 2 trips per day on Toby Creek.  We know how important it is to be able to squeeze everything you want to do into your vacation time, the half day Toby Creek whitewater rafting trip will allow you and your family to spend the other half of the day checking yet another fun activity off your list!  We at Glacier Raft Adventures want you to enjoy every second you spend with us, that is why we are proud to offer a shuttle from Fairmont and Invermere.  This trip is great for kids ages 8 & up with fun whitewater ranging from class 1-3 and no experience is necessary.

With the Columbia Wetlands right at our doorstep, we are excited to offer a scenic nature float every evening on the Columbia River.  This hour and a half raft trip is great for bird watching and an excellent way to relax at the end of the day.  Come see if you can spot some of the hundreds of birds in this valley.  This evening trip is great for all, from the young to young at heart. The Columbia River is a gentle class 1 float, perfect for brining your camera and documenting the amazing scenery and wildlife.
