SAFETY: OUR FIRST PRIORITY
At Glacier Raft Company nothing is taken more seriously than safety. Keeping
you and your family safe is our number one goal on and off all of our river
rafting trips.
Our safety record is excellent and all Glacier trips are lead by
professionals who have years of experience white water rafting on the Kicking
Horse River, Toby Creek and Columbia Rivers.
Our guides are all trained in Swift Water River Rescue and First Aid.

We check the water levels of all of our rivers every day and if water levels
are to high to run any part of our rivers we will not run that section that
day. This can happen commonly in June on the Kicking Horse River when water is
too high to run the lower canyon section, in which case we run the middle
canyon section twice.
Although falling out of the raft is rare (usually males age 16-25 years
old!), it is recommended that you be comfortable around water and know how to
swim.
