At Glacier Raft Company we use AIRE self-bailing river rafts designed for whitewater river rafting, all of which are to regulation size specific to the Kicking Horse River, Toby Creek and Columbia Rivers .
The rafts are oar guided and paddle assisted at high water on the Kicking Horse River in Golden, BC and at medium and lower water levels they can also be paddle guided. On Toby Creek our rafts are always paddle guided and paddle assisted in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC.
We limit our numbers to 8 per raft, plus one guide, ensuring that the boats are not overfilled so that everyone is comfortable. Having just 8 people per raft allows our guides to give you the personal attention that you need on a whitewater rafting trip!
We provide you with wetsuits, neoprene socks or booties, splash jackets, fleeces, mitts, helmets and life jackets. All you need to bring is a swimsuit, towel and a smile!
